Senior UPA Ministers Meet On Lokpal Bill, A group of senior ministers met here today to give final touches to the Lokpal Bill which the government proposes to table in Parliament on Tuesday.
Home Minister P Chidambaram, Law Minister Salman Khurshid, Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal and Minister of State for Personnel V Narayanasamy attended the meeting to finalise the draft.
Instead, under pressure from UPA president Sonia Gandhi, the cabinet is taking up her pet project the Food Security Bill on Monday.

This was held over at the last cabinet meeting with NCP Chief Sharad Pawar questioning how the government will raise the Rs 90 thousand crore needed for the project.
