Review Of Don 2 , All The Way Of, Don 2 Shah Rukh Khan, its prequel. The story is pretty simple. It takes off from where the first part ends when Don (Shah Rukh Khan) escapes from the police only to resurface in Thailand in the new film.
After some inexplicable things, he urrenders in front of the police and old flame Roma(Priyanka Chopra).
Don is then sent to a jail in Malaysia where he meets his old nemy rdhan(Boman Irani). What follows is an elaborate planned out jail break and Don and Vardhan manage to escape.
Don 2 is in the same league as the Abhishek Bachchan-starrer Game, which was co-produced by Farhan Akhtar – a visual treat, yes, but that’s it. The story in brief is that Don is annoying the bosses of an European drug cartel because he is jeopardising their business by selling drugs at a much lower price.
The bosses send word out that Don must die, but they can’t get him. For some unfathomable reason Don decides to surrender to the Malaysian police, a force manned mostly by Indians like Malik, Roma and her ridiculous assistant, a young man who keeps making passes at her and gets just a peck on the cheek for his pains.
You later find out that Don is in jail to help Vardhaan get out so that they can con the world happily ever after. But there is a twist in the tale. No…make that many twists in the tale. Problem: they are all lame.
Don (SRK) is spotted in Thailand. He surrenders to cop Roma (Priyanka Chopra) and is sent to a Malaysian prison. He breaks the jail and manages to escape in a daredevil way with Vardhan ( Boman Irani).
They now hatch a plan to rob the Germans of their currency plates. There the Don makes smart moves. His mission begins and amidst all odds, does he succeed or not is the climax.PerformanceShahrukh Khan scintillates.
