RIM Blackberry Playbook Only Rs 14403 In India
That’s never been more affordable than it is today, thanks to Currys, who are knocking out the BlackBerry Playbook in its 16GB incarnation for a piffling Rs.14403.
Now, however, the device is a complete bargain, with Currys, Dixons, and PC World selling the 16GB Wi-Fi-only model for £199.99. To add 3G and an additional 16GB of storage, just add another £50 (approx. $78) to its price tag. It’s also worth noting that HTC began releasing the Honeycomb update for the Flyer earlier this month.
The tablet was presented in September 2011 and was ahead of its time as it was the first tablet with a dual core processor but it only was widely available in 2012, by which time, the iPad 2 and a slew of Android based tablets meant it was never going to rival Apple's tablet.

RIM had no other choice but to cut its price in order to clear existing stock to avoid a damaging exit like HP with the TouchPad.
The tablet is a mere 10mm thick and weighs only 425g. It is powered by a dual core TI OMAP4430 chipset clocked at 1GHz, has 1GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, two cameras, Wi-Fi, microHDMI and microUSB, but no microSD card.
